The course addresses the principles of modern computing technology, its role in helping to solve real-world problems and the critical issues affecting management.
You will be equipped with skills that will enable you to develop, maintain, evaluate and manage computing systems in a range of organisations, typically in the context of IT departments.
You will explore areas such as Computer Technologies, Database Systems, Programming in Python and C#, Computer Networks, Systems Security, Technology Infrastructure Managements, Full Stack Strategies and Development and Strategic Information Systems Management. You will also be able to select a module which aligns with state-of-the-art research or showcase current advances in computing such as Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Pervasive Computing, Mobile Development, Big Data and Computer Vision.
