This is Stage Two of a Two Stage Programme.

The overall aim of the two stage programme is to enable learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and competence to work as autonomous practitioners, subject to practice supervision, promoting and supporting the holistic needs of children from 0 to six years, and/or to take responsibility for a room or area in an ELC setting.

This award also provides the learner with the opportunity to transfer and progress into further and higher education and training.

This Certificate in Inclusive Support and Care in Education for Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) is offered by the School of Education in collaboration with the School of Nursing, Health Sciences and Disability Studies. The Programme has been developed and designed in conjunction with the Department of Education (DoE) and the National Council for Special Education (NCSE).

The National Sportsturf Management Apprenticeship is for anyone who wishes to pursue a career in the sportsturf sector or existing personnel employed in a sportsturf facility that would like to gain a recognised qualification.

The Farm Manager Apprenticeship is the gold standard for farm management and farm ownership training in Ireland. The Farm Manager Apprenticeship is for anyone who wishes to pursue a managerial career in the agricultural sector or existing personnel employed on farms to progress with their existing educational qualifications.

To participate in this Level 6 programme, the Certificate in Human Service Compliance Management, students must be working in a human service environment for at least 10 hours per week as a team member/manager/PIC/PPIM. This is vital to the applied nature of the programme.

The programme aims to provide participants with knowledge on the origins and rationale for regulations; how to prepare for and engage positively with inspections as well as an understanding and development of the necessary competencies required to abide by employment law when it comes to managing staff.

This course is exclusively for mature students with intellectual disabilities with an interest in film, animation, photography and design.

This programme provides individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to attend and complete a programme of study at MTU.

The curriculum focuses on the research and application of advanced digital photography techniques, ranging from sophisticated lighting and composition during the capture phase to high-end post-production imaging workflows

The aim of this programme is to equip the learner with the skills, knowledge, and competence in the principles of employment law and the statutory frameworks which regulate the employment relationship.

The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the relevant knowledge, skill and competence to work in a range of industry sectors independently in a supervisory capacity.

This two-year program provides a comprehensive journey through the film production industry, beginning with a foundational year focused on core skills like scriptwriting, cinematography, sound, and editing. Students gain a vital understanding of the creative process alongside the business and technical aspects of modern media. The second year shifts toward advanced vocational training, allowing for deeper specialization and the application of industry-standard practices. This final stage culminates in the development of a substantial professional portfolio, strategically designed to help graduates secure employment within both the Irish and international film and creative media sectors.

The aim of the  course is toStudents will acquire up-to-date knowledge in the field Computer Science and Software Engineering. Students will gain skills in programming and problem solving. These skills will be developed over one year and allow the candidates to become proficient in many key practical areas of Software Development. You will learn C# using Microsoft's .NET Framework, creating your own computer programs to best practice.

The Farm Technician Apprenticeship is for those who wish to pursue a career in the agricultural industry as a farm technician or for existing personnel in the industry who would like to gain a qualification.

This module will equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to assist in the management of the natural environment.
