This course in Business Administration and Office Technology Studies is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of information and communications technology alongside practical, high-demand administrative skills. This is year 1 of a 2 year programme leading to the Advanced Certificate at Level 6. Learners can progress to the Early Learning and Care Level 6 award (Year 2) if they have achieved the Early Learning and Care Level 5 award (Year 1) or if they have gone through an RPL process.

Students will explore all aspects of Film and Television giving them a knowledge of both behind and in front of the camera. Students will have the opportunity to explore and develop the art of TV Presenting, Interviewing, Autocue and Links to camera as well as Producing, Directing and Editing. Students will have access to professional camera and editing equipment and to assist them in producing a showreel.

This is year 2 of the Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care (Level 6). Learners can progress to this course if they have achieved the Early Learning and Care Level 5 award (Year 1) or if they have gone through an RPL process. This programme aims to meet the requirements of childcare supervisors and managers in relation to current childcare legislation and child protection legislation, as well as developing the core competencies required to work at managerial level.

The primary purpose of this award is to equip learners with the vital knowledge, skill, and practical competence required to operate confidently both independently and under supervision within a modern science laboratory environment. Designed to establish a robust foundation in core science and mathematics, the curriculum places a heavy emphasis on biomedical knowledge, sterile techniques, material science, and safety-critical industry communication. Through hands-on training in laboratory skills, microbiology, chemistry, and biology, students develop the rigorous mechanical and analytical competencies expected in contemporary research and clinical settings.

To provide students with the skills, knowledge and competence required to pursue a career working with people with Special Needs. The course will also give students an insight into the range of employment opportunities in the sector. Work Experience takes place One Day per week for the duration of the course with a two week Block in January/February.

This Level 5 Computer Science course gives student an excellent opportunity to learn computer programming. This course covers the abstract concepts required to become a successful programmer, in a small class setting, where questions are welcomed and discussion encouraged. Learning the fundamentals of computer science including software development, software testing, web design, mobile technologies, and database design.
