This one-year Nursing Studies course will introduce you to practical experience in healthcare clinical settings which, combined with an insight into theories relating to the nursing profession, will enable them to deliver high standards of care. This course is designed to combine aspects of nursing theory and practical aspects of clinical nursing experience. 

This one year Construction Technology/Civil engineering will introduce you to the skills of construction and civil engineering which may allow you to progress to construction, architecture and engineering courses in Higher Education or proceed directly into employment. The course is designed to provide students with a hands-on introduction to the broad range of the skills required to work in the construction industry Students are prepared for entry to degree programmes related to the construction industry or for apprenticeships in construction related areas.

This one-year Art & Design course is a foundation year in art and design. A foundation in art and design provides the fundamental knowledge and understanding of art and design processes to provide a good basis for further study in any related area. During the year students will learn to draw, and learn about the variety of ways that drawing can be used, e.g. life-drawing, drawing for design purposes etc. Other areas of study are; painting and colour, 3-D and sculpture, printmaking, mixed media and collage, art history, graphic design.

This is a full-time one-year course and runs from September to May.

This one year Applied Social Studies course will introduce you to the theory and practice of the key areas of social studies and social care. This is the ideal starting point if you wish to progress to further studies or gain employment in a variety of community, health and educational organisations. Students will evaluate the need for care in society and develop an understanding of care provision in the public, private and voluntary sectors whilst also developing an awareness of the impact of social exclusion and disadvantage on the lives of individuals and an understanding of the interventions social care has to offer.

This one year Fashion Design course will introduce you to all the elements involved in creating your own designs and making beautiful unique pieces of clothing. The aim of this course is to give you all the training and skills you need to start you off on a career path in Fashion Design.This course is designed to Introduce students to the theory and processes of contemporary fashion design; Enable students to communicate design ideas effectively; Provide students with the educational support and professional expertise necessary to pursue a career in Fashion Design; Enable students to prepare a portfolio of work to present at interview with a prospective employer or at a third level college and Assist students to develop the range of skills needed to produce a cohesive collection of garments for a fashion show.

This one year Beauty Therapy course leads to an internationally recognised qualification in beauty therapy that will ensure you are educated to the highest industry standards so that you can take on this new and exciting career as well as providing you with the skills to set up a solid career in the Beauty Therapy. They will experience the regular operation of a salon, establishing professional contact with costumers and potential employers. Students complete professional certified training with Dermalogica Skincare, B Perfect Make-up and Lycon Waxing This course caters for school leavers and mature learners. It is an intense one year programme which requires a high level of commitment and enthusiasm. 

This one-year full-time Hairdressing and Barbering course is an intensive, hands-on programme that leads to recognised qualifications in hairdressing and barbering related skills. Students interested in progressing to a second year where they gain higher qualifications in Senior Trades and a City & Guilds Diploma in Ladies Hair Dressing are selected on a competitive basis. Training is provided in the fully equipped college hairdressing salon. Work experience offers students the opportunity to further develop their skills in selected and approved hairdressing salons.

The Hairdressing Apprenticeship is a practical route into a career in hairdressing where you will earn while you learn. Apprentices undergo training while working four days a week with their employer and attending college one day a week. Apprentices will be supported in the workplace by an approved Mentor and in the college by their teacher. Apprentices will graduate after three years as a fully qualified Hairdresser with a QQI Level 6 award on the National Framework of Qualifications.

This Advanced Certificate in Business Management and Information Systems is designed to provide learners with a portfolio of skills required in the financing, planning, marketing and management of a small business. It provides a solid foundation in the skills, competencies and knowledge required to assess, plan, implement and evaluate a business structure.

This one year Music Performance and Production course will provide students with knowledge of music theory and its practical application to musical styles and genres including writing their own songs. Students explore the structure of the music industry in addition to gaining practical skills in recording and producing music in a modern production environment. Students also learn how to plan and organise events as part of the course.

This course may also be of interest to graduates with qualifications in non-computer disciplines who wish to pursue training in this area.

This one-year full-time course is designed for learners seeking to pursue a career as a healthcare assistant. The course provides students with essential knowledge and skills required to work in various healthcare settings. This course is ideal for those who wish to work as healthcare assistants, support workers, or pursue further studies in other health-related fields. The National Quality Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People require all newly recruited care staff and those in posts less than one year, to commence training to Level 5 QQI or equivalent within two years of taking up employment.
