Keyworker – Foundation Skills is a one-year QQI L5 course for those seeking to develop a career path in the essential role of Keyworker. Key working is a core role in the provision of individualised care to service users empowering them to be the drivers of their care planning, thereby facilitating them to achieve their own goals and developmental milestones. Key working is used throughout the social care sector to motivate service users to identify positive goals and improve their quality of life. This course will act as a foundational pathway to Higher Education to achieve a QQI Level 7/8 degree in a related area.

This Computing with AI course has been designed to enable learners to engage with the fundamentals of AI in the context of software development practices and principles. This course is for those with an interest and aptitude in the area to transition to advanced studies while providing them with a practical software development skillset that will enhance both their progression prospects and ability to seek employment in this rapidly expanding field of technology.

This course in Social Entrepreneurialism gives learners the opportunity to identify socio-cultural, political and economic contexts and challenges, to explore their creativity and developing business acumen to design and implement solutions through practical project work and educational experiences.

This level 6 course is aimed at those who wish to work with young people and children in mainstream and intellectual disability support services, including specialist units and hospital schools. The course is for who have successfully completed a level 5 major award in a relevant area e.g. childcare, education, special needs assisting, community care, healthcare or social care and offers a progression opportunity at level 6 with employment prospects.
