Applied Psychology in the Community - 6M2218
This course investigates societal issues including disability, mental health and addiction and explores the interventions and infrastructure, both statutory and voluntary in their approaches that support wellbeing and rehabilitation.
This advanced course shifts to raising personal and interpersonal awareness and the development of our own behaviour and attitudes that influence our role in social systems and structures in the work place, community and societal contexts.
Students will be trained and equipped with the knowledge and insight to develop and manage relationships within the work environment and this forms an integral developmental process on this course.
