This programme will enable learners to develop the knowledge, skills and competence to work as an early learning educator, supporting the holistic needs of children 0-6 years in the early learning and care setting. This award also provides the learner with the opportunity to progress into further and higher education and training.

This is the first stage of a two-year programme, leading to the Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care. The course provides learners with an insight and understanding of the developing child and an opportunity to develop skills for working with young children in a variety of Early Years settings.

Our Advanced Level 5 Certificate in Early Learning and Care will provide the student with a professional qualification now required to work in the ELC sector. This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work with children in a variety of settings. Students will gain an insight into how children learn and develop, through class participation and professional practice placement. This award also provides students with the opportunity to progress into higher education and employment.

The aim of the Stage 1 of the Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care programme is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to work independently and as part of a team, subject to direction and practice supervision, as a member of the early learning and care community of practice, providing holistic care and learning experiences for children from 0-6 years across a range of early learning and care settings.

This award also provides the learner with the opportunity to transfer and progress into further and higher education and training, and to Stage Two of the Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care.

This Creative Digital Media course equips students with essential skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving landscape of digital media. By exploring cross-platform software on Apple Macs and Windows PCs, students learn to plan, design, and produce visually captivating websites enriched with a wide range of multimedia features. Industry-standard software such as Premiere Pro is used for recording and editing digital media, enabling students to create professional video content.

This cutting-edge Multimedia Production program at WCFE provides students with the critical technical and creative skills required to design, develop, and deliver interactive digital media. Under the guidance of industry experts, learners gain extensive hands-on experience in specialized areas such as web authoring, multimedia storytelling, and interactive content design. This course is designed to equip the learner with a high level of practical knowledge, skill and competence within a broad range of subjects related to the dynamic digital media and web design industry. The range of industries represented by digital media production includes media such as film and television, digital marketing, digital publishing, animation and digital games.

This one year full time course equips the learner with the vocational skills and knowledge to train for a career in Graphic Design, Digital Media, 2D & 3D Animation, Games Design. The course is designed to provide learners with a practical understanding of current and future digital media applications and technologies through practical projects, the course supports development of a broad range of technical skills and enhances creativity.

Learners will design and create graphics, 2D and 3D animation and game projects. Multimedia Production learners have access to the high spec computer labs equipped with industry standard creative software and hardware.This course will also be relevant to those interested in pursuing a career in digital media production. 

This course offers the learner the opportunity to explore and develop skills in many aspects of design, with particular emphasis on graphics. It provides a solid foundation for further studies in the fields of creative design and computer design. This course blends 3D Computer Modelling, Game Making and Coding to give the learner a unique skillset to enter the Gaming / Computing industry.
