This 2-year Level 6 Sales Apprenticeship programme is an “earn and learn” model, designed to empower the apprentice with underpinning knowledge, skills and competencies required to become an effective sales specialist. It is strongly grounded in the practical experience of providing the apprentice with real “On-the-Job” work experience whilst being supported by “Off-the-Job” learning in face to face workshops and an online learning environment.

The FIT Cybersecurity Apprenticeship is the third in a series that have been developed by FIT and delivered in partnership with Education and Training Boards. The initial two in software development and network engineering are already up and running in Dublin and Cork and expanding rapidly.

This accredited Level 6 course, Certificate in Empowerment and Advocacy, equips the student with the knowledge, skills and competencies to support people with disabilities in empowering themselves on a day-to-day basis, thus facilitating self-defined visions of a desirable future. The Certificate in Training and Development twelve week programme provides participants with the tools to identify training needs and design, plan, deliver and evaluate quality and engaging training.

The course is aimed at qualified practitioners who wish to pursue a career as a trainer. The course is aimed at individuals already involved in designing and delivering training as part of a project; and team leaders, supervisors and managers required to plan, deliver and/or evaluate training in their workplace.

The Certificate in Human Service Manager Skills Special Purpose Award at Level 6 meets the management qualification requirements set out in the HIQA Standards.

Students must be working in a human service environment for at least 10 hours per week as a team member/manager/PIC/PPIM. This is vital to the applied nature of the programme, so that learners may both learn from their work environment and apply theory to it. It also allows for a mentorship arrangement in the workplace so that learners have a guide in this application of learning.

The National Tour Guide Training programme at Dublinia will provide participants with the skills, knowledge and competencies to deliver and manage a comprehensive tour management and guiding service for tourists visiting and travelling in Ireland. The programme is relevant, practical and responsive to industry needs.

There are three modules: Irish Tour Guiding, Irish Natural Heritage & Culture and National Tour Management. Each module carries 15 credits.

This exciting programme will provide participants with the skills, knowledge and competencies required to provide a comprehensive guiding service for tourists visiting and travelling in Ireland. It will be relevant, practical and up-to-date with industry needs and follow best practice guidelines. The programme comprises two modules: Irish Tour Guiding and Irish Natural Heritage and Culture.
