You will acquire a range of barbering skills to include the use of tools such as clippers, scissors, razors, and combs. In addition to haircuts, you will be equipped to provide services like scalp massages, and eyebrow shaping, focusing on enhancing clients’ appearance and personal grooming. This course provides you with the skills required if you intend to run your own barbering business in the future.

This one-year course is for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the computer industry. It aims to prepare students for careers that require specialist knowledge in programming, network implementation and web technology.

This course also provides an excellent foundation for those wishing to pursue degree programmes in universities or those wishing to progress onto Level 6 programmes or apprenticeships.

This one-year course is designed to give students an introduction to Agriculture science and covers a variety of areas related to the study of animal science. Students will gain a fundamental understanding of content related to animal and agri-sciences. The course offers modules such as Animal Anatomy and Physiology, Biology and Laboratory Skills. Students will also have the option to study other modules within the science sector giving a good grounding for entry into a higher education science degree.

This one-year course provides students with an understanding of how the property market functions. By the end of the year, students will be equipped with key Auctioneering and Estate Agency skills and will develop an understanding of economics, law, marketing and valuation among other skills.  Modules on this course will allow you to gain a base knowledge within the property sector allowing for progression towards further studies and gaining a licence enabling you to work as an Auctioneer/Estate Agent.

This one year course would equip learners with relevant knowledge and experience to work as a pharmacy counter assistant or pursue a pharmacy technician qualification in the future. From dispensing over the counter medications, helping clients choose medical aids and appliances to demonstrating and selling products, this course covers the most relevant skills. This course will also focus on a range of health related subjects relevant to employment as a pharmacy assistant. Work Experience is within a retail pharmacy where as a pharmacy assistant, you can work as part of a team of health professionals in order to help customers achieve the best possible health outcome.

Through a combination of lectures, workshops and practical exercises students will develop an array of skills. Students will acquire the skills and knowledge to bring characters and stories to life on stage. In addition to this, you will develop a knowledge of theatre throughout the years and gain a good understanding of Ireland’s most prolific playwrights.

This course aims to prepare students to support GPs to expand their practice by assisting the Practice Nurse and medical/admin staff. This course will equip the learner with the knowledge and skills required for this new role as identified by the Health Service Executive.

This course covers how governments, policies and international relations work, learning to understand people and businesses, markets and governments, and how to respond to national and global changes, whilst understanding society, human behaviour and relationships.

Students will have the option of taking a language, Irish, French or Spanish, along with EuropeanStudies. These qualifications can be used to progress to a variety of degree and certificate programmes in a wide range of Universities.
