This is a one-year full time QQI Level 5 and Junior Trade course, with intensive training in the skills and education required for the Barbering and hairstyling Industry. Students will have the option to progress into a second year to achieve higher qualifications in Senior Trade and International City and Guilds Diploma.

This practical training course is intended for learners who want to work in the construction industry and undergo a SOLAS apprenticeship in areas such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, block-laying or plastering.

The course content is designed to give learners a variety of construction trade experiences and allow learners to make informed choices about their apprenticeship careers into the future. It also prepares students for progression to third level studies if so desired.
