No car is entirely manufactured in one place. Instead, the parts of the car are designed and manufactured in many locations and then assembled in a final location. The motor industry in Ireland is made up of dealerships and repair shops that get cars onto Irish roads and keep them there. Ireland has strict requirements for car maintenance, requiring cars over a certain age to undergo the National Car Test (NCT) to ensure it is roadworthy.
