Jarlaith Brady , Summer Intern at EDF Renewals
Jarlaith Brady is an engineering student and budding project developer. As a Dublin City University student, he thrives in mechanical and sustainable engineering and hopes to graduate their Masters programme in Mechanical and Sustainable Engineering soon. Jarlaith has also made time to work as a project manager and project developer through an internship with EDF Renewables UK & Ireland. Jarlaith spent his summer in Hamburg working with EDF Renewables Germany to support the construction of project Ellingen and project manage new developing windfarms across Germany.
Coming from the midlands of Ireland, he has seen firsthand the benefit of wind energy – to his community and to our national energy systems. “Working in wind is a dream come true for me. From the first time I set foot in a wind turbine I knew it was the career for me. I’ve been able to travel, meet new people and explore various sides of the industry and I just know there are opportunities for me in this sector.”
