The Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) Engineering Traineeship prepares Trainees for work as future Engineers/Technicians and combines theory and practical industry experience to provide a basic understanding of Manufacturing and Engineering Processes. The Trainee will complete 26 weeks classroom-based learning in Monaghan Institute and 12 weeks work placement in Combilift spread out over the course of the 9 months.

Kerrie works as a Process Engineer for Intel in their Leixlip manufacturing facility. She choose to study Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Trinity College, a course she highly recommends. After three and a half years working as a Mechanical Engineer, she took up her current position as Process Engineer
Brendan is currently a second engineer operating out of Killybegs in Donegal. He completed his Leaving Cert in Carndonagh Community School in 2001. He has studied several courses at the National Fisheries College and expects to complete his Class 1 Certificate next year
